Our home has an older tar and gravel roof. With the recent storm, we experinced numerous leaks. We need the quickest, most cost effective way to repair or replace our current roof. The house has a walkable slope and is flat over over the garage.

Currently have a welded rubber roof on a flat roofed home. I am considering a granular coated epdm roof installed over the existing roof(no tear off) with 1/2" insulation. I've been told the area is approx. 32 squares and that there is around 400 linear feet at the boundary with the mansard shingle roof. The shingles are in good shape and would only be replacing two rows of the shingles around the bottom of the upper mansard(sp?)
